Fall
Elegance and refinement
Fall is a fixture that combines wood with metal. The cut-out at the top of the fixture make the design somewhat like a lantern. The transparency makes the luminaire extremely elegant and refined. The light shines on both sides of the metal, making it look its best from all angles.
Characteristics
Types of wood
Accoya
Accoya comes from Monterey pines, which are grown exclusively in sustainably managed forests. It is an elegant light brown wood with black veins. If the wood is left untreated, it will slowly age. In addition, it has exceptional physical qualities: Accoya is very stable and has virtually no shrinkage or expansion. The wood type is treated in an environmentally friendly way, which promotes its lifespan.
Accoya - stained
Accoya is very suitable for staining, a processing method in which a colored, transparent layer is applied to the wood. It gives the accoya a different color. Yet the wood structure with its shades remains visible.
Arfrormosia
Afrormosia is a sustainable type of wood with a warm color and rich texture. The wood comes from the tropical rainforest of Central and West Africa. When freshly sawn, the beautiful golden-brown color is particularly striking, which first darkens through contact with the light and then ages nicely and evenly. Afrormosia has a beautiful typical wood drawing, characterized by stripes and flames. An advantage of this type of wood is that it is not sensitive to cracks and warping.
Padauk
Padauk is one of the most exclusive hardwoods in the world. The wood comes from West Africa. Because of its extremely durable character, robust quality and beautiful reddish color, it is known as luxurious garden wood. The special thing is that Padauk does not occur in forests, but comes from single trees. As a result, it is scarcer compared to other hardwood species. Padauk hardly deforms, and is therefore extremely suitable for outdoor applications.
Finish
Bronze
We combine padauk with bronze. The warm color of the bronze matches the naturally aging padauk, these complementary shades provide a beautiful balance.
Gunmetal
We combine Accoya with gunmetal. This finish gets its name because it is characteristic of the barrel of a rifle. It has a dark gray color in which blue, black and gray tones flow into each other. A perfect combination with the stained accoya.
Tin
We combine Afrormosia with tin. The patina of the tin exudes a robust and natural strength. The purity of tin in combination with afrormosia gives it an authentic character for any environment.
